Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Zinx OS (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Zinx OS. If you sign up on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
3. Workspaces and roles
Zinx OS is organized into workspaces. The workspace owner controls membership, roles, and data inside the workspace. By accepting an invitation to a workspace, you give the owner administrative control over the content you create there.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or to harm others.
- Upload malware, phishing content, or material that infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass security, or scrape data outside the API limits we publish.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and your workspace members. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload it.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Paid plans (Pro, Business, and Scale) are billed through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, on the cycle you choose (monthly or yearly). By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price for your plan, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from Settings, then Billing. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, after which the workspace returns to the Free plan. Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription immediately.
- Plan and seat changes. Upgrades (a higher plan or more seats) take effect immediately and are prorated: you are charged the difference for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades (a lower plan or fewer seats) take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep the higher plan until then, and the current period is not refunded. If a payment for a plan change does not go through, the change is not applied and you stay on your current plan.
- Refunds. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. After that window, annual plans are not refunded on a prorated basis.
- Taxes and changes. Applicable taxes are handled by Dodo Payments. Prices, plans, and limits may change; we will give notice before a change affects your next renewal, and existing subscriptions keep their price until you change plans.
7. Third-party services
Zinx OS relies on and integrates with third-party services, including Google, Convex, Dodo Payments, Resend, PostHog, Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Klipy, and Unsplash. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their availability, performance, content, or acts and omissions. If a third-party service is interrupted, changes, or fails, that may affect Zinx OS, and we aren't liable for problems caused by services outside our control. Automations you configure may also send data to, or receive data from, external endpoints you choose; you are responsible for those endpoints and the data you route through them.
8. Termination
You can stop using Zinx OS or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that create risk to us or other users, or if required by law. We'll give you reasonable notice unless we're prohibited from doing so.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Zinx OS is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
